Gráinne Duffy Band – Ireland – Friday 5th @ 11:30pm – 1:00am
What a powerhouse of soul and inspiration mixed with desire and passion. She will take you to the most inner depths of your soul that other artists wish they could do with their music. She sets the standards for modern blues and country female vocals. An artist that is true to her music and not afraid of the hard work and commitment it all involves. She is the real deal with a live show that is still as dynamic as ever and her band are a treat not be missed. 2014 alone has seen Grainne play at many of Europe’s leading festivals including Blue Balls Festival, Lucerne, Switzerland, Notodden, Norway, Linton Festival in the U.K., Aosta Festival, Italy and later this year will see Grainne and her band grace the stage in Germany, Svalbard, Holland and beyond.
“Not only does Duffy sound remarkably like the legendary redhead (Bonnie Raitt) with an easy on the ear mix of rock, blues and soul, but she can also play a mean guitar too. She sings with a passion and conviction beyond her years.” R2 Magazine
The Steepwater Band – Chicago – Friday 5th @ 1:30am – 3:00am
Formed in Chicago back in 1998, The Steepwater Band’s signature sound is a nod to early British blues, combined with a modern, raw and gutsy musical approach. Founding members Massey, Bowers and Winters have a synergy that comes from years of playing together. Then in early 2012, the long-time trio was joined by Saylors, from Indianapolis, IN, who brought an added depth to the TSB LIVE sound. Although the band got their start as devotees of delta blues, they have since been expanding on their influences, absorbing everything from Psychedelia to Americana, from Jazz to 50’s Rock n’ Roll Music. The Steepwater Band’s latest album “LIVE & HUMBLE” was recorded in Chicago on 4/20/13 at the now defunct Ace Bar on West Fullerton Avenue. Jeff Massey (Vocal, Guitar), Tod Bowers (Bass), Joseph Winters (Drums) and Eric Saylors (Guitar, Backing Vocal) played over 200 shows together on the High & Humble Tour leading up to the night of this amazing show, and is the first TSB recording to feature this newly adorned 4-piece lineup. Critics and fans agree, LIVE & HUMBLE captures TSB’s kinetic energy, and their own brand of Rock n’ Roll improvisation. The record contains over 75 minutes of music, featuring tracks spanning from their previous studio LPs, “Revelation Sunday (2006)”, “Grace and Melody (2008)”, and “Clava (2011), along with a 16 minute version of John Lee Hooker’s “Boom Boom” that rips right into Zeppelin’s “How Many More Times” and back again, leaving the listener only wanting more. It is their humble devotion to music, and a commitment to achieving their goals without compromising the integrity of their musical vision that makes The Steepwater Band a rare find.

The Mud Morganfield Band – Saturday 6th @ 11:30pm – 1:00am
Mud Morganfield eldest son of the undisputed king of the Blues Muddy Waters has been delivering his charismatic Chicago blues to audiences around the world. Stunned audiences have noted that he looks and sounds strikingly like his old man, so much so the one of his dad’s former sidemen said “It’s like watching a ghost in the flesh!” Mud, however also has his own very individual mojo working he is blessed with a big and powerful voice that manages to convey deep emotional resonance and good old fashioned testosterone laden strut on those classic shuffles, He’s also blessed with a natural sense of showmanship. He mixes up the sets with his dad’s classic songs and his own original material. As Mud puts it “I started to sing to show the world that dad left me here.. I’m not Muddy Waters and I’m certainly not trying to be him, when I’m up on stage I always feel pops is there with me. He has shared the stage and gained the respect of many of his Dad’s ex sidemen, Buddy Guy, Kenny Big Eyes Smith, Eddie “The Chief” Clearwater, Pinetop Perkins, Jimmie Johnson, Mojo Buford, to name but a few. Micky Moody (Whitesnake) guitar,Ian Jennings Double Bass,Mike Hellier drums,Giles King Harp, Jools Grudgings Piano some of the best Chicago blues I’ve heard in years. Son of a Seventh Son to any lover of the blues. Muddy would not be disappointed in how his legacy is being carried on.” “The resemblance between Mud and his famous father is uncanny, and he’s got the phrasing and delivery down pat . . . this is a fine effort that definitely adds to the Morganfield musical legacy.”
