The Marquee is back

Major festival announcement

The Harvest Time Rhythm Blues Festival committee is delighted to announce the return of the much-loved Marquee and that will be situated in the heart of Monaghan Town, on The Diamond.

The Marquee Main Stage has hosted renowned international headline acts over the past two decades with its festive atmosphere endearing itself to festival-goers far and wide.

Time and cost restrictions last year put the Marquee on hold and despite similar restrictions this year, the committee felt that the Marquee needed to be reinstated.

The location of the Marquee on the Diamond in the heart of the town is sure to be a big hit with festival patrons. Marquee Lineup additions The Lineup for the Marquee Main Stage has also been updated with the brilliant UK band, ‘Wille and The Bandits’, fresh from their US tour, opening the festival headline acts on Friday 6th, September. Later Friday, Germany’s award-winning outfit, ‘Jimmy Cornett & The Deadmen’, are set to rock the Marquee Main Stage.

This one will be special!

On Saturday night, up and coming Belfast star, ‘Dom Martin’, opens proceedings at the Marquee Main Stage with headline act, Canada’s ‘Anthony Gomes’ making his first Ireland appearance. The Toronto guitarist and his band will bring ‘blues thunder’ to the Diamond. A brilliant night awaits!

On Sunday evening, Monaghan’s international star, Grainne Duffy has been added to the Marquee Main Stage, followed by Dom Martin and later Sunday, festival headliner, Louisiana blues legend, Kenny Neal is set to rock Monaghan. A ‘Super Sunday’ of rock, classic blues, and soul-infused swamp rock – absolutely, not to be missed!!!
